        Here is the Support Level Supplement (SLS)
        ptf7084 - UnixWare 7 libnsl supplement


Problems Fixed
--------------

        Fix to libnsl to support gratuitous arp.  ptf7010 is required to
        actually implement gratuitous arp.

And new in SLS ptf7084b:-

Corrected  yp_match() to avoid getting stuck in an infinite sleep loop 
when NIS is configured and gethostbyname() is called with a long name
(rejects keys longer than YPMAXRECORD).

        ptf7084 should only be installed on these Releases:

        UnixWare 7


Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Download the ptf7084a.Z file to the /tmp directory on your machine.

2. As root, uncompress the file and add the package to your system
   using these commands:

        $ su
        Password: <type your root password>
        # uncompress /tmp/ptf7084a.Z
        # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf7084a
        # rm /tmp/ptf7084a

3. Reboot the system after installing this package.
   The release notes displayed prior to installation can be found in
   /var/sadm/pkg/ptf7084/install/ptf7084.txt


Removal Instructions
--------------------

1. As root, remove the package using these commands:

        $ su
        Password: <type your root password>
        # pkgrm ptf7084

2. Reboot the system after removing this package.
