Dear SCO Customer,

The enclosed Support Level Supplement (SLS) ptf3006 provides new Motif
runtime libraries (libXm.a and libXm.so) and a new composite graphics
library (druntime.so.1) to correct possible core dumps seen with Oracle
Development 2000 product suites on UnixWare 2.1 systems.



Software Notes and Recommendations
----------------------------------

ptf3006 should only be installed on SCO UnixWare 2.1.  It should only
be installed in single-user mode, when the Graphical User Interface ("GUI")
is not running.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Download the ptf3006.Z and ptf3006.txt files to the /tmp directory
   on your machine.

2. As root, uncompress the file and add the package to your
   system using these commands:

       $ su
       init 1
       # uncompress /tmp/ptf3006.Z
       # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf3006
       init 6

Removal Instructions
---------------------

1. As root, remove the package:

       $su
       # init 1
       # pkgrm ptf3006
       # init 6
