SOLUTION:  This tomcat package updates the "Apache Tomcat app server for
           Java servlets, JSP, web services" package on your UnixWare 7.1.4
           system to version 4.1.31.  A revised startup script
           /etc/init.d/tomcat is also provided to enable automatic Tomcat
           startup upon system reboot.

Installation
============

The tomcat-4.1.31.pkg file is a pkgadd datastream of the "tomcat - Apache
Tomcat app server for Java servlets, JSP, web services" distribution suitable
for installation with the UnixWare 7 pkgadd facility.  There are no other
packages that are required in order to install tomcat-4.1.31.pkg.

To install the tomcat-4.1.31.pkg package:

1.  Log in to your system as root.

2.  Change directory to a temporary work directory.

3.  Download tomcat-4.1.31.pkg from either the SCO web site or using FTP:

        - To use the web site, go to this page:

        - To use FTP, go to this location:
       ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/unixware7/714/other/tomcat_4_1_31/tomcat-4.1.31.pkg

4.  Install via this command:
        pkgadd -d `pwd`/tomcat-4.1.31.pkg

Package Removal

To remove this tomcat package:

1.  The following packages are dependent on tomcat being installed:

	mod_jk1
	mod_jk2
	HcSCOUA
	MePrxySCO

     If you have any of these packages installed and want to then remove this
     version of tomcat, you must first remove the above packages.

2.  To remove the tomcat package:

         pkgrm tomcat
