The files for this supplement package are:

   hba_adsl_800c.dd.Z  - The HBA driver floppy image.
   hba_adsl_800c.txt   - Installation instructions and information.

I. Software Notes and Recommendations


      1. This replacement driver should only be installed on:

            UnixWare 7, Release 7.1.0, 7.1.1
            Caldera Open UNIX 8 Release 8.0.0

      2. The driver version strings for this driver are:

            VERSION=8.0.0c
            IHVVERSION=d2.01.3.7

      3. If you have questions regarding this supplement, or the
         product on which it is installed, please contact your
         software supplier.

II. Installation Instructions

When using this supplement as an additional HBA diskette during
operating system installation, be sure to insert this diskette
before any other HBA diskettes.  It should be inserted before the
distribution HBA diskette.

   1. Become root and create a new directory:

          $ su
          Password: <type your root password>
          # mkdir /tmp/pkg
          # chmod 700 /tmp/pkg
          # cd /tmp/pkg

   2. Download the hba_adsl.dd.Z file to the newly created

          /tmp/pkg directory on your machine.

   3. Uncompress the file, make the HBA floppy, and add the
       supplement to your system:

          # uncompress hba_adsl.dd.Z
          # dd if=hba_adsl_800c.dd of=/dev/dsk/f0t
          # pkgadd -d /dev/dsk/f0t

   4. Reboot the system after installing this supplement.

III. Removal Instructions

   1. As root, remove the supplement using these commands:

          $ su
          Password: <type your root password>
          # pkgrm adsl

   2. Reboot the system after removing this supplement.
