Dear SCO Customer, Support Level Supplement (SLS) PTF7402A, the acctsh(1M) and clock(1tcl) supplement for UnixWare 7 Release 7.1, provides two date-related fixes. SLS PTF7402A corrects these problems: 1. acctsh(1M)'s daily "LAST LOGIN" report could never advance from a 99-MM-DD login to a 00-MM-DD login, fixed and sorted. However, 00-00-00 accounts that never logged in are now omitted. 2. clock(1tcl) scan interpreted YY 00-68 as 19YY. It now interprets it as 20YY. Other than the two issues mentioned above, UnixWare 7.1.0 included all of the fixes in SLS PTF7034A, the Year 2000 Supplement for UnixWare 7.0.0 and 7.0.1. SLS PTF7402A contains these files: /usr/lib/acct/lastlogin /usr/lib/libtcl7.6.a /usr/lib/libtcl7.6.so Software Notes and Recommendations ---------------------------------- SLS PTF7402A should only be installed on: UnixWare 7.1.0 SLS PTF7402A spans the following packages: cmds tcldev tclrun A fix is only installed from SLS PTF7402A if that file is already installed on the system. A fix is not installed from SLS PTF7402A if another SLS has already provided that fix to a file (including Year 2000 fixes). If you upgraded to UnixWare 7.1.0 from UnixWare 7.0.0 or 7.0.1, and had previously installed SLS PTF7034A, it is not necessary to also install SLS PTF7402A.
